How difficult are the kits to fit?


Kits are straight forward to fit and are plug and play once coded. Our NEW splice-free harnesses eliminate the requirement for joining wires together with soldering and tape. Door cards will require removal for door lighting kits  and trim panels under the steering wheel and glove box will require removal for the fitting of footwell lights (instructions on how to carry this out will be supplied).


What tools will I need?


Panel removal tools (optional), torx bits, screwdrivers and drill or multi-tool.


Do the kits come with instructions?


Yes all kits (with the exception of the boot/trunk light kit) will come with wiring instructions, VCDS (VAGCOM) coding instructions and door panel/card removal instructions (via email). The boot/trunk light kit is very simple to fit, just plug and play, so no instructions are required. We can of course provide guidance if required.Do control modules require coding?


Yes coding is required to activate all lighting kits with the exception of A4 B6/7 door lighting kits, all glovebox light kits and all boot (trunk) light kits. Coding can be carried out using VCDS and in some cases Carista and OBDeleven however we can only support queries with VCDS.

I don't have VCDS (VAGCOM), what can I do?


If you don't have VCDS or are not confident with coding modules please contact us as we have a number of coders in the UK who can carry out both coding and fitting services or click here for a map of registered users who can support with coding.


How do I know if the kits will fit my car?


All kits are made specifically to suit your car, please ensure the correct vehicle is selected when an order is placed. If unsure please contact us.


Do you offer a fitting service?


Yes a fitting service is available, please contact us for further details and prices. We are based in Cheshire however we do have fitting services in Manchester, Grimsby and Wellingborough.


Will I be able to control the lights with the MMI unit?


As all our kits are wired into the control modules in the same way as they would be if they were fitted as a factory fitted option, any features you have on the MMI unit will work however this does depends on the software level installed on the MMI unit.


Can I set it so that the footwell lights stay on all the time?


If this feature is available on the control module then yes this is possible. If not, then the lights will switch off when the car is started. We do not recommend that the wiring is wired directly to the ignition to keep the lights on as this could over heat the wiring and the light housings.


Can you supply puddle lights with logos?


Due to the large number of logo lights available we will be unable to stock all the different types. We recommend that if you want to install logo puddle lights then you would need to source these yourself and then let us know which ones you have bought so we can ensure we use the correct connectors on your loom.


How long does an order take to arrive?


Most kits are in stock however occasionally we may need to make the kits due to high demand, we aim to make the kit(s) on the day of order and then send out the following day. In some cases, dependent on workload, it may take 2 -3 days for a set of looms to be made, if there any delays then we will ensure that you are notified. 


What are the postage costs?


All prices include 2nd class standard Royal Mail postage, 1st class standard is available for an additional £1 per order. Price for mainland UK only.


Do you ship overseas?


Yes, we have many previous customers from overseas. The overseas shipping charge is £10.


Do you make custom looms or other types of looms?


Yes we can make custom looms but we will require some additional information from you with regards to what your requirements are, please contact us for more details.


Do you make kits for other VAG brands?


Yes we can, please contact us with your requirements.


What is your refund policy?


Our main aim is to ensure that the customer is happy with the product that we have supplied and that it operates to your expectation. If you do have any issues with fitting then please contact us and we will do every thing we can to help.
